§ 17-36. Authority to install traffic-control devices.

The city shall place and maintain or cause to be placed and maintained official traffic-control signs, signals and devices when and as required under traffic ordinances to make effective the provisions of the ordinances, and may place and maintain such additional traffic-control devices as are necessary to regulate traffic under the traffic ordinances or under state law or to guide or warn traffic.
