§ 14-132. Outside employment or volunteer activity or enterprise.

  • (a)

    Employees may engage in employment or volunteering outside their job with the city provided they are in compliance with the administrative regulations and subject to the following conditions:

    (1)

    Outside employment or volunteering does not constitute a conflict of interest, or the appearance of conflict of interest with city duties and responsibilities.

    (2)

    Outside employment or volunteering is not inconsistent or incompatible with city duties and responsibilities, working hours, assignments or emergency assignments. The number of hours worked or volunteered may be restricted.
