§ 2-6. Number of signatures required for mayoral and council candidate nomination petitions.

The minimum number of nomination petition signatures required for a candidate for the office of mayor or council to have his or her name included on the Scottsdale municipal election ballot shall be one thousand (1,000) signatures or five (5) percent of the vote in the city, whichever is less, but not more than ten (10) percent of the vote in the city.
